Designed to feed one stereo mix to up to four people, the AS-900 4-Band Pack from Galaxy Audio includes an AS-900T Transmitter and four AS-900R Bodypack Receivers. It operates on a fixed frequency&mdash,specifically, N1 Band, 514.4 MHz&mdash,and takes its inputs from dual combination XLR / 1/4", jacks on the rear panel.This system can transmit signals up to 150 feet, allowing a four-piece band, for instance, to wander the stage and still receive a stereo cue-mix. Simply plug the transmitter into a mixing console\'s monitor output jacks, create a mix that\'ll suit the needs of those on stage, and send to up to four participants. A stereo / mono switch allows you to sum the signal if mono is preferred. Though the system only handles the sending and receiving of one stereo mix to four individual bodypacks, it can be expanded with additional transmitters and receivers to provide more mixes to more listeners.Each receiver features an 80mw headphone amplifier with a standard 3.5mm headphone output, as well as RF and low-battery indicators. A built-in limiter ensures signals don\'t get too loud or distorted. Furthermore, the receiver comes with a complementary set of EB3 ear buds and a rackmount kit for the transmitter.
