KanexPro HDSC51HDBT is a mini hi-def. presentation scaler designed for installation beneath conference tables and in lecterns to provide localized audio and video switching support for sources such as presenter devices, as well as signal extension up to 230 feet over shielded CAT6 cable to reach a wall or ceiling-mounted display using HDBaseT.The HDSC51HDBT will scale and switch HDMI, C-video, YPbPr and legacy VGA video signal to HDMI output and HDBaseT&trade, output supporting Power over Ethernet (PoE) on the display side. When connected with HDMI over twisted pair PoE receiver, max transmission distance is 230 Feet (70 meters). The HDCP compliant scaler offers bi-directional wideband IR and RS-232 control with the receiver extender.The scaler is housed in a compact 1U, half rack width enclosure that can be installed virtually anywhere, including discreet placement underneath a conference table, cabinet place, inside a credenza, or in a lectern.HDBaseT output makes it easy to extend HDMI over cat6 embedded with audio, and bi-directional control signals to a receiver in a remote location, such as behind a flat-panel display on a wall or above a ceiling-mounted projector.Ideal for use in lecture halls, boardrooms and conference room set-ups where legacy video formats such as VGA, Component, C-video and HDMI devices are used in conjunction with digital sources and displays.
