The Shure BLX188/CVL is a dual channel lavalier wireless system and is part of the BLX wireless systems family. The BLX188/CVL comes with BLX1 bodypack transmitter, BLX88 dual channel receiver, and the CVL lavalier condenser microphone. The BLX1 bodypack transmitter provides up to 14 hours of continuous use with 2 AA batteries (not included). It has a 300 ft (100 m) transmission radium. The BLX88 dual channel receiver has a microprocessor-controlled internal antenna diversity. The CVL lavalier condenser microphone is a clip-on lavalier condenser microphone in a discreet, miniature form factor that is ideal for professional presentations.
